New Municipality of Domokos, established by the application of 3852 / 2010 Law and includes the former municipalities of Domokos, Xyniada and Thessaliotis, now defined as Municipal Units. The seat of municipality is the Local Community of Domokos, that is amphitheatrically built in a panoramic position, from where there is view of all the ancient Estiotida and Thessaliotis plain, up to the Mount Agrafa and Kozakas, the ancient homeland of Asclepius.
